Ghanaian Gospel singer, Philipa Baafi has called on those lobbying for others to get an appointment in Akufo Addo’s government to leave her name out of the potential appointee list.
The singer is known to be a strong New Patriotic Party NPP supporter and has even given them her song dubbed “Go High” for their 2008 campaign.
The ace gospel singer seems to be not interested in any appointment hence has refused to put herself for an appointment at the Tourism Ministry.
Speaking in an interview on Kastle FM in Cape Coast, she declined to take the offer to become the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Arts when asked by the host.
He said she doesn’t want anyone to lobby for her because she’s not interested in picking up such a position.
Phillipa Baafi noted that some elders are ahead of them and whoever comes up to pick the Ministerial position will support them so the President knows the best person for that position.
