Dagenham stabbing: Woman killed and another ‘seriously injured’ in east London
A woman in her 60s was killed and another was seriously injured in an east London stabbing.
A 28-year-old man who knows both victims has been arrested on suspicion of murder and aggravated battery.
Police were called to Auriel Avenue in Dagenham shortly after 9.30 p.m. on Sunday for “a truly shocking incident.”
The woman died at the scene, and the other woman, in her 30s, was taken to the hospital. Her situation is not life-threatening.
According to Metropolitan Police Detective Superintendent Richard Vandenbergh, the incident appeared to be isolated.
