Amanda Holden Ex-Husband

Amanda Louise Holden is an English actress and media personality. Since 2007, she has been a judge on the television talent show competition Britain’s Got Talent on ITV.

She currently co-hosts the Heart Breakfast radio show with Jamie Theakston on weekday mornings.

Holden was born in Portsmouth, Hampshire, and spent much of her childhood in Bishop’s Waltham, and aged nine she joined Bishop’s Waltham Little Theatre Company. She attended Swanmore College.

At 16 she moved to Bournemouth, before moving to South London to attend Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.

In 1992, while they were both appearing in The Sound of Music, Holden dated George Asprey.

She married the comedian Les Dennis in June 1995.

The couple separated temporarily in 2000 after Holden’s affair with actor Neil Morrissey was the subject of press interest, before separating permanently in December 2002 and divorcing in 2003.

Around this time, she alleged she was sexually assaulted by an “unnamed famous comedian” at a public event.

Dennis has a son named Philip from his first marriage to Lynne Webster, which lasted from 1974 to 1990.

He also had an affair with actress Sophie Aldred, which he documented in his autobiography.

He married actress Amanda Holden on 4 June 1995.

They had a temporary split in 2000 when Holden’s affair with actor Neil Morrissey was exposed in the press, before eventually separating in December 2002 and divorcing in 2003.

Dennis met Claire Nicholson in 2005. They were married on 23 November 2009 in Highgate.

The couple has two children: a daughter, Eleanor Grace, who was born on 24 April 2008, and a son, Thomas Christopher, who was born on 14 April 2011.

Dennis is a lifelong Liverpool F.C.
