Ghanaian rapper Kwaw Kese has sparked reactions online after responding to a viral Facebook post made by dancehall artiste Shatta Wale about his music career.
In the post shared on Facebook, Shatta Wale, known in private life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah, revealed that he may be forced to quit music and focus on his other businesses if he does not get a serious investor to support his career.
“Where I have gotten with my career now I think I need a serious investor on board cuz I can’t do this alone… otherwise I will have to stop music and concentrate on my other businesses which will be my best decision,” part of his post read.
Reacting to the statement, Kwaw Kese appeared to mock the musician with a sarcastic response that has since gone viral on social media.
“My son sell one of your cars and invest in yourself. Or come make I give you some acres of land to farm,” Kwaw Kese wrote.
His comment quickly triggered mixed reactions online, with some social media users finding it hilarious while others felt the rapper was throwing unnecessary shade at Shatta Wale.
Others also defended Shatta Wale, saying every successful musician reaches a point where external investment becomes necessary to expand globally.
The exchange between the two musicians has since become a major talking point among fans on social media.
